The Re-Run Pineapple 2.0 Off White

Made from pineapples (!). 

 

We combined two best-selling concepts; recycled plastic-bottle mesh and vegan pineapple "leather" and turned it into our Re-Run Pineapple. More specifically the upper is made from the leaves of pineapples from local pineapple farmers from the Philippines, providing them with extra income and substituting animal-based ingredients for plant-based ingredients.

 

• Upper: Piñatex 72% PALF (Pineapple Leaf Fibre), 18% PLA (Polylactic Acid) 10% Bio PU

• Mesh: 100% Recycled Polyester, Global Recycled Standard

• Insole: 100% recycled EVA

• Outsole: 95% recycled rubber, 5% natural rubber

• Midsole: 65% Sugarcane bio-based EVA, 35% EVA

• Lining: 100% recycled polyester

• Laces: Organic cotton (100%)
